Isabel Marant
Isabel Marant’s label, founded in 1994, embodies a laid-back but well-considered style with comfort, utilitarianism and an easy bohemian attitude in mind. Designing since she was a teenager in her home city of Paris, chunky knitwear, cowboy boots, wedge sneakers, and menswear-influenced oversized outerwear are all staples of the brand. Marant’s promise of a uniform for “real-life women” is affirmed by the fact that nothing leaves her studio before being tried on by Marant herself.
