Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela was founded in Paris by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988, and the house was swiftly established as a leader in avant-garde fashion. Influential ideas and key pieces include the iconic Tabi boot, extreme silhouettes, deconstructed denim and upcycled vintage clothing. Glenn Martens designed his first collection for the F/W 2025 Haute Couture season where he echoed archival motifs and reinstated the signature face mask. The atelier uses experimental shapes and unexpected juxtapositions to achieve its unique mix of intellectualism and luxury for its ready-to-wear, leather bags and popular accessories.
