Sacai

Chitose Abe worked for Rei Kawakubo as a pattern cutter at Comme des Garcons, developing a strong technical background and keen eye for mixing fabrics and textures before founding her own brand, Sacai, in 1999. Abe uses a 3D approach to create hybrid shapes for her much sought-after jackets, knitwear, blouses, and trousers. All of the fabrics used by Sacai are made especially for the label, ensuring high quality and durability. Convention-defying and made for every occasion, Sacai’s clothing has fans the world over.
