Dries Van Noten
Belgian designer Dries Van Noten, a member of the Antwerp Six, launched his first menswear collection in 1986 and has since expanded into womenswear. His strikingly individual approach is that of a modern romantic. Van Noten’s designs show a keen admiration for classic art, a love of layering, and a sophisticated eye for colour, along with impeccable tailoring skills inherited from his lineage as a third-generation tailor. Coats, jackets, and shirts rendered in mixed prints and soft volumes make up the best of Van Noten’s repertoire. Early in 2024, Dries Van Noten announced his retirement, with Julian Klausner taking the helm as Creative Director later that year.
