VSP is synonymous with high-end luxury consignment within Canada. Based in Toronto, VSP has gained a cult following among fashion collectors locally and internationally since it opened its doors in 2013. The shop has embedded itself into its community by building solid relationships with its consigners, customers, film and television partnerships, and staff while promoting the importance of upcycling and sustainability through clothing and accessories.

Owned and operated by Britt Rawlinson, VSP took inspiration from her mothers consignment store in Calgary called Vespucci. Vespucci opened in 1986 and has refined its approach from its humble beginnings as a family-owned and operated business to what is now considered an industry leader among high-end luxury consignment in Canada. With stores in Toronto, Calgary, and Edmonton, VSP and Vespucci have a firm grasp on the ever-changing retail landscape.

Our mission is to offer the best customer and consignor experience, product selection, and a complete approach to the shopping experience - whether that be in-store or through our digital platforms.

Through our dedicated team of Luxury Specialists, we strive to ensure you're receiving the most accurate, competitive, and best return on your goods. We offer white glove pick-up service, closet consultation, and out of province consignment opportunities. Let us tailor the consignment experience to you!

Online orders are shipped Monday through Friday from 10 am-6 pm EST, excluding holidays. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing, provide all address details, including apartment/suite/unit number. All orders will include a tracking number and insurance up to $100 CDN. Once we have shipped your order, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Orders that cannot be received for whatever reason will either be re-shipped (at the customer’s expense) or cancelled.

Please note that our locations are not responsible for any loss and/or delays of products following shipment from our locations to the shipping address. Delayed delivery will not give rise to any penalty nor indemnity, and cannot be used as a reason for cancelling an order.

TAXES & DUTIES

Taxes are not included in the sale price and will be added where applicable by law for all Canadian orders. Orders shipped outside of Canada are not subject to any Canadian sales tax. Please refer to the customs legislation in your country of residence for more information on additional duties and taxes.

Estimated shipping times do not include customs clearance and VSP Consignment is not responsible for any additional duties or taxes. In the case of refusal, the recipient will still be responsible for any shipping fees, taxes and additional custom duties.

 

RETURNS

At this time, all sales are final. Please thoroughly review the specifications of each item prior to purchasing. Alternatively, if an item doesn't work out, we are happy to re-consign the item on your behalf!

LAYAWAY 

We are happy to offer an interest free layaway option on any item at VSP. We require a non-refundable 25% deposit, after which you have 60 days to pay off your item in full.

AUTHENTICITY

We are committed to representing only genuine items. All items consigned with us undergo thorough verification by our team of authenticity analysts. We also work with third-party authentication services at our discretion.

CONDITION OF ITEM

Due to the pre-owned nature of our items, there may be gentle wear. Any relevant damage is communicated on the individual items specifications and condition chart. Please review our product remarks in full and do not hesitate to ask for any additional information.

VSP Consignment is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information provided is solely used to process your order or contact you regarding a particular transaction. All information is gathered securely through the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and is treated seriously and with full respect to your privacy. VSP Consignment guarantees the information you enter will not be disclosed to any outside organization or third party.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. More than 80 billion pieces of clothing are produced worldwide each year. Of these pieces, 75% will end up in landfills, meaning the fashion industry is sucking up our planet's resources at an unsustainable rate.

Greenpeace has noted that consumers buy 60% more clothing today while keeping for half as long as they did 15 years ago. More than 75% of the carbon footprint in the lifecycle of a piece of clothing happens at clothing mills, where fibres are spun and woven. The vast majority of clothing produced ends up incinerated or in landfills, which takes up to 200 years to decompose, creating even more pollution by emitting hazardous chemicals and greenhouse gases.

When you shop at VSP Consignment, you are advocating for change and offsetting the fashion industry’s carbon footprint while contributing to a circular economy.

 

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

New Circles Community Services is a Toronto-based not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that builds strong and caring communities by providing basic necessities to clients across the region. They provide much-needed clothing, social programs, and skill-building opportunities to individuals living on a low-income, with a focus on residents of Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Victoria Village, Taylor-Massey, and Oakridge - many of whom are newcomers to Canada. New Circles operates the largest clothing bank in Toronto under the name of GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear), designed to offer a retail shopping experience that preserves dignity for clients. By consigning with VSP and donating items at the end of the season with our partner not-for-profit agency, consignors are contributing as active members of the Toronto community. 

WINS (Women in Need Society) was founded in 1992 to provide basic needs to women in poverty and their families. WINS has been a primary partner of Vespucci for many years, however, Vespucci also works with various not-for-profit organizations as opportunities arise.
